Social purpose real estate has typically included developments built by non-profit organizations or government agencies, with the goal of promoting social or affordable housing. But can for-profit developers be involved in social purpose real estate? And if so what are the models that we know work?

Here are 3 reasons why building up rather than building out makes more sense.

Are we losing connection with each other? Can housing help bring community and connection back to people?

There is a stereotype of property owners exploiting tenants, however this doesn't have to be the case. There is an economic case for caring for tenants.

We need new thinking in the Real Estate sector so that people and the planet benefit. Kindof like fair trade coffee.
